Coco College of beauty Therapy

For anyone just starting a career in beauty therapy or looking to move into the beauty industry I would recommend getting a solid foundation so you can master the skills that make a good beauty therapist! Getting as much experience as you can in a real salon environment is definitely key!I did a course in Beauty Therapy in the College of Commerce for two years before I started working with Mac in Brown Thomas and it really helped me!

That’s why I am so excited to be collaborating with Coco Beauty Spa in Ballincollig, a salon I have known since it started over 12 years ago! And delighted to be able to work with Lisa O’Mahony, the owner of Coco, to launch her brand new private beauty college, Coco College of Beauty Therapy!!!

Lisa decided to launch COCO College of Beauty Therapy this year to be able to give students access to training in all the latest treatments, such as laser hair removal. All the courses are CIBTAC certified and there are full and part time courses, including:

Beauty Therapy, Body and Laser Programme

Aesthetic Treatments Diploma

Electrical Epilation Therapy Diploma

Body Therapy Diploma

Laser and Intense Pulse Light Diploma

Students also get direct access to real clients, giving them an immediate career advantage at graduation!

The College is located next door to the salon. It is over 6,000 sq ft. and is currently being custom designed by Studio No. 6 Interiors and built specifically to cater for beauty therapy training, with three practical rooms, two lecture halls, a laser room and a dedicated nail area with pedicure seats!

The College will be having an open night this Friday from 6-9pm – so make sure to go along and get a tour and learn more about the courses!!

Places are filling up fast so if you are interested, check out the full prospectus at www.coco.ie For more information call the salon on (021) 487 8717 or email hello@cococollegeofbeautytherapy.ie
