The Furniture for Baby JJ
Hi everyone, I had a big delivery this week…….. Yes more baby stuff. I got my cot for the baby that he/she will sleep in for the first few months. I also got my downstairs changing table & high chair. I have not started my nursey just yet just the floors, but don’t worry I will do a seperate blog post on that when its ready.
My bedroom cot!!!! I picked this out the day I found out I was pregnant lol it is one of those things you just fall in love with instantly. I adore White & Grey and as we don’t know what we are having I think it’s the safest bet. I have two more scans and we said we would find out on the last but at this point I think we will just wait …. That could change!!

Stokke Sleepi Mini is the perfect first bed for your baby. Comfortable, secure and easy to move from room to room, the smooth action of its lockable wheels can be used to rock your baby gently to sleep as well as any pram. The Stokke Sleepi Mini narrow form gives your baby a sense of security whilst allowing you to wheel your baby around the house, never out of sight. Enough sleep for your baby and hopefully enough sleep for you.
Stokke Sleepi Mini is easily turned into the Stokke Sleepi bed that grows in length as your child does. The height is adjustable, to accommodate your baby’s changing development. Once your baby reaches the curious climbing stage, you can remove one side of the bed for easy access, and to boost feelings of freedom and independence.
I got the matching canopy.
(Surround your baby in serenity and style with the Stokke Sleepi Canopy. The canopy encloses your baby in a comforting nest of warm blankets and dreams while blocking the light out for restful slumber)
Bedding, the cot comes with a mattress which is great because my crib in the nursery had none and I had to get one. So in terms of bedding I picked up a white fitted sheet and I got the Stokke bumper that is made for this circular cot. I went for white because its so fresh and suits boy or girl. It has ties that just go around the poles so easy to take off and wash. I used my Zara bed sheets for under it i have stars rabbits and elephant prints.
My next item is my downstairs changing unit, the reason I have two is I want one up in the nursery and one down in my kitchen so that I don’t have to be going up and down the stairs with a new born. I chose this because it is super strong & safe , it has lots of storage and also matches my kitchen & the high chair I got.

Stokke® Care is a changing table that makes nappy changes enjoyable! The changing table raises your baby higher, encouraging eye-contact. Space underneath provides room for your feet, allowing you to stand closer for better reach. Best of all, Stokke® Care has been designed so that your baby can lie facing you rather than sideways. This allows you to face your baby for play and interaction while making nappy changes far easier.
My last item is my highchair. I went for this style because it can be used up until the child is a toddler.
( Tripp trap chair – hands down my favourite piece of baby kit!!! It’s amazing for when baby is tiny but really comes into its own when baby can join you at the table)
(The Tripp Trapp is an ingenious highchair that revolutionised the children’s chair category back in 1972 when it was first launched. It is designed to fit right up to your dining table, bringing your baby into the heart of your family, allowing him or her to learn and develop alongside you. The intelligent, adjustable design allows freedom of movement with both depth- and height adjustable seat- and footplates. When adjusted correctly, your child is ensured a comfortable and ergonomic seating position at any age.)

My next baby blog will be on my buggy which I’m picking up soon, then after that it will be my nursey. I have few other items like bottles, breast pumps, bath stuff, downstairs sleeping cot & monitors ..I will do a blog post on those items too.
